Someday Riley will learn that he participated in video calls with his grandparents when he was just a little boy, and he will be BLOWN AWAY by the archaic technology that was being used. "Was that when dinosaurs were still alive?" he'll ask, and JB and I will cackle appreciatively from our aluminum walkers.

Oh fun!
We like to set up a web cam at parties when important family members can't make it. That way they can see the party in progress.
It is great when we miss my husbands familys Christmas party pretty much every single year.

I meant that it is great to be able to see the party, not that it is great to MISS the party. Oh whatever!

Riley, surprisingly, looks suspicious of the whole setup.

I love how you miss the bottom of grandma's face, like she's leaning up close to see Riley. And how Grandpa's standing back... like he's not quite sure about this progress stuff. lol

Entirely suspicious.

Right now Hannah thinks this is the only way you can communicate with Grandma and Grandpa. She thinks they live in our computer and demands to speak to them whenever she thinks about it. (She's 2)

I need a Mac. You need a Mac for that, right? Because I need one and this is another reason why.

Nope, totally done on a PC. But you should get a Mac anyway, because they are Superior.

How awesome that Riley's Grandparents are interested enough in being a part of his life to take on learning about video calls.
